Business analyst
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional specifications.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards, and data models to support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and management, to implement and optimize business solutions.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business strategies and initiatives.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and presentations.
• Monitor project progress and provide recommendations for adjustments as needed.
• Ensure alignment of project objectives with business goals and customer needs.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CBAP) is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in business analysis or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
• Experience with project management and Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
