Data Analyst
Position Objective
As a Data Analyst, you will act as the primary point of contact for all data analytics topics, engage with business teams, and design insightful dashboards. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of data validation, and the ability to implement efficient ETL processes.
Main Responsibilities
• Business Team Engagement: Act as a single point of contact for all data analytics topics, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with business teams.
• Dashboard Design and Build: Design and build dashboards that visualize data insights, enabling stakeholders to answer critical business questions independently.
• Maintain Dashboard Standards: Uphold high standards of dashboard design, adhering to the organization’s design standards and best practices.
• Data Validation and Usability Testing: Perform thorough data validation and usability testing to ensure dashboards are accurate and user-friendly.
• Evaluate Data Sources: Assess available data sources, understand their definitions and limitations, and implement ETL processes to derive appropriate datasets.
• Key Metrics Monitoring: Define and create processes to ensure stakeholders can efficiently monitor key metrics on an appropriate frequency.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Strong understanding of data validation, data cleaning, and data transformation processes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with business teams.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards in dashboard design and data analysis.
