Agile Transformation Program
This program aims to help the Cigna Hong Kong to transform from the traditional way of working to a new Agile way of working by developing the Agile culture, mindset and behaviors to deliver more values to the customer frequently to improve the customer satisfaction. In addition, it helps to improve the employee engagement, operation & financial performance.
Scope of intervention
- Define the Agile frameworks, Practices & Tools
- Provide Agile Coaching and Training from senior management to working level
- Uplift and build the inhouse competencies of Agile practitioners (e.g. Scrum Master)
- Define User cases for Agile Adoption in Q2 2021 which one of the Use Case will act as the Scrum Master and the CEO will be the Product Owner
Deliverables
- Interviewed over 50 staff and defined the Agile Transformation Roadmap up to 2022
- Identified 8 use cases for Agile adoption for Q2 2021
- Conducted one Design Thinking Workshop (~30 staff) and several Agile Trainings
- Kick started the Agile Transformation Programme and the Scrum Team with the CEO as the Product Owner
The Agile Transformation Program aims to support Cigna Hong Kong's shift from a traditional working model to an Agile approach.
This transition is intended to foster an Agile culture, mindset, and practices that will enhance customer value delivery, boost customer satisfaction, and improve internal engagement, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
Scope of intervention
- Framework and Tools Development: Define Agile frameworks, best practices, and toolkits to guide the transformation
- Agile Coaching and Training: Provide hands-on coaching and training, empowering team members from senior management to operational levels.
- Competency Building: Strengthen the Agile skills of in-house practitioners, including Scrum Masters, to ensure sustainable Agile adoption.
- Use Case Definition: Identify and establish specific use cases for Agile implementation, including selecting leaders to act as Product Owners and Scrum Masters, driving accountability and ownership.
Deliverables
- Staff Engagement and Roadmap Development: Interviewed over 50 staff members to craft a detailed Agile Transformation Roadmap extending through 2022.
- Use Case and Workshop Implementation: Identified 8 use cases for Agile adoption and conducted a Design Thinking workshop for around 30 staff members, alongside various Agile training sessions.
- Program Launch: Initiated the Agile Transformation Program and established a Scrum Team, with the CEO participating as the Product Owner to champion the transformation effort.
