Use Case Omnichannel Project Manager - Retail
Project I: APAC FBP eShops
FBP (cosmetics) eShop projects as a temporary eCom solution introduced to the markets until official chanel.com is available.
Scope of intervention
- Manage markets’ IT Managers on project execution including process flow, SIT and UAT
- Assist project team by preparing SIT and UAT test cases per market’s operation flow
- Host regular meetings with vendors, CHANEL technical team and IT managers to align tecintegrationhnical design, obstacles and business requirement
- Host regular meetings with business/operation users providing an overview on project status, communicate on any foreseeable risks and managing users’ expectations.
- Regular meetings with Global office on project status and acting as a bridge communicating global’s and markets’ expectations and upcoming tasks & objectives
Deliverables
FBP eShop for APAC markets including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand involving over 100+ business users.
Project II: Regional Order Management System
Solution supporting different eCom business model. This project aims to enhance the overall operation flow on eCom orders.
Scope of intervention
- Putting together project and action plan
- Identifying different business users & technical users initiating discussions on today’s operation, understanding pain points/limitations from business & system perspective and gathering business requirements
- Drafting project scopes and requirements to different application owners e.g. AX & WMS etc.
- High-level design of business process and re-engineering where necessary.
- Putting together business use cases for vendor's reference
- Host regular workshops involving regional business teams and local market IT team to review design drafts and consolidate business users’ feedback.
Deliverables
OMS ought to support different eCom model e.g. chanel.com and e-Retailers for different markets including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Vietnam and so forth.
